Northampton Goes Cashino
![]() ![]() |
On Saturday 4th February the old Prestige venue in Northampton officially opened its doors and re-launched as CASHINO. It has been all hands to the desk, as the venue has been transformed with new machines, new signage and the very first “Voyager” gaming lounge allowing customers to play slots and bingo on handheld units. Players were treated to free promotions including match plays and cash draws plus membership offers for Beacon Bingo our sister Company within the town. Other highlights included free refreshments and a special guest appearance by Beaky Bingo who handed out free online offers and posed for photographs. The official opening was performed by one of our oldest members, alongside the Northampton team, Dianne Brookes from Loughborough, Kathy Candler from Kings Lynn 57 and Area Managers, Angie Blake and Gill Clulow. |

Zoe received her new wheelchair in Trongate, Glasgow, and is only 12 years old. She suffers from Spina Bifida which affects all aspects of her movement including muscle power and control of her legs. With this new chair, Zoe will now be able to go out with her friends on her own and even reach her favourite treats that her kept in a biscuit tin up high thanks to the chair having high/low lift feature! |
It was really worth "chipping" in for CHIPS!

A really memorable time getting her new wheelchair!
Those that know Keeley well describe her as a very chatty friendly teenager, with everything that being a teenager brings with it. She is, quite unlike some of CHIPS recipients, in as much as she is 17 years old who has Cerebral Palsy, is into heavy metal music, shows off lots of piercings and wears black!
“Linda Lindsay, on behalf of CHIPS Charity, describes us as being an amazing company and on behalf of CHIPS she thanks us so much”
Chips Wine and Dine at Argyle Street, Glasgow.

Pauline and her staff at Argyle Street raised an amazing £1,020 for CHIPS and as such reaped the rewards, for all their hard work during the campaign, with a meal at their local Chinese restaurant.
A very tasty meal was had. Laura saved herself all day and if you want a run down on the desserts on offer, Claire is your girl! It was a lovely get together.

New Jackpot Lounge at Yeovil
The new Jackpot Lounge at Yeovil was launched by a Midsomer Nights Dream Party organised by Clair and her team, who dressed as fairies to spread a little magic and fairy dust.
In our new Jackpot Lounge the High Roller machines have been grouped together in a separate area where the high spending customers can be really looked after, and treated to a really impressive Platinum style service, with lots of goodies, to make them feel extra special.

Praesepe Charity Football Tournament Raises £10,000
|
Praesepe’s five-a side foot ball tournament has helped to raise over £10,000 for disabled children’s charity CHIPS. A crowd of close to 500 people came to watch the action at the Power league ground in Milton Keynes, as 16 men’s teams and four ladies sides battled it out for industry bragging rights in glorious weather conditions. After some exciting matches, the men’s final was played between Farcelona, a side representing Praesepe at Kings Lynn, and E-service, with Farcelona emulating their Spanish almost-namesakes and coming out as victors. |

In the women’s final, the formula was not quite right for 4+1=5, representing Cashino Gaming’s Northern area, as they were beaten by 100% Ream, representing Praesepe’s Milton Keynes head office. For those to young for football Beaky was there too! At the cup presentation ceremony, Praesepe CEO Nick Harding was assisted by Bethan Hagues, one of many children whose lives have been transformed by a bespoke powered wheelchair bought for them by CHIPS. |

Presentation of powered wheelchair to Charlie by Praesepe Chief Executive – Nick Harding and the Seebeck House support Team.
Charlotte (Charlie) Walter is 16 years old and suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She needs to be in a wheelchair all the time and with the high/low facility on the new chair she will be able to look her peers in the eye instead of them always looking down at her or looking straight over the top of her. This new powered wheelchair replaces her old one which belongs to 'Wheelchair Services and has no 'riser' and this would not be available from Wheelchair Services. As you can see the difference made to her life and the lives of her parents is immeasurable.
